J. Addison School was established in 1986 and is a private boarding high school offering programs for local and international students accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education. The school is located in Richmond Hill, 30km from downtown. It is housed in a modern 60,000-square-foot building with a spacious cafeteria, dance studio, large gymnasium, locker rooms, and showers on the main floor. The second floor has large classrooms, staff rooms, admissions offices, and state-of-the-art science and visual arts labs.

Our graduates come from all parts of the world and from all cultures, ideas, interests and talents. At J Addison, we have carefully planned a program for each student that matches their individual potential development, so they can reach their full potential and succeed!

The school's philosophy is innovative, increasing the traditional four classes per day to five classes per day, called Focus For Success® (FFS). We employ instructors with excellent teaching backgrounds and experience to provide students with unlimited guidance and inspiration in their academic endeavors. We regularly discuss research with students, follow up on their academic progress, and make adjustments as needed to help students have a clearer direction and pursuit.
